Things to do in Edinburgh in November 2022
7th Nov 2022Halloween and Samhuinn may have passed but there's still plenty of things to do in Edinburgh in November. In fact, the darker evenings make it the perfect time to take one of our Edinburgh ghost tours.
1. Doomed, Dead & Buried - All November
Take advantage of the early evenings on our Doomed, Dead, & Buried tour and visit The famous Blair Street Underground Vaults beneath the city and the Canongate Kirkyard on this adults-only ghost tour. 2. Edinburgh Castle: Castle of Lights - From November 18th.
Another event you can enjoy in the darker winter months is Edinburgh Castle's Castle of Lights! See the castle lit up in fantastic holograms, each one telling its own tale. This year's theme is named Kingdom of Colours and has been expanded, so even if you've been before it's always worth visiting again. 3. Visit The Christmas Market - From November 25th
Edinburgh's famous Christmas market will return from November 25th. Browse a range of unique gifts and delicious delights at the Christmas market stalls, ice skating, amusement park rides and more. Discover more here.

4. Edinburgh Christmas Light Trails - From November 11th & 17th
Visit Christmas at the Botanics or Five Sisters Zoo and enjoy their seasonal light trails. Five Sisters Zoo will even host a grotto inside, with Santa ready to greet guests from December 1st.
5. Visit Camera Obscura World of Illusions - All November
Speaking of stunning views of the city, you can also get incredible views of Edinburgh from the rooftop of Camera Obscura. Plus, there's lots of engaging and fun illusions to interact with inside from mirror mazes to twisting tunnels. Book your visit here.
